Sams homeboarding for dogs is licensed by Test Valley Borough Council and has been awarded a 5 Star rating and a 3 year license.
Like most dog lovers I have enjoyed being a dog owner for a number of years, these all being rescue dogs. It was from adopting these dogs that I later began to foster dogs and gained an enormous amount of experience in dealing with different breeds and types of behaviour. The dogs ranged from Chihuahua and Pugs up to Red Setter and Labradoodles. Some of these dogs came from puppy farms and had never been in a home before or had any human contact. Others were unclaimed strays from the pound, and sadly some from homes. From fostering these dogs, rehabilitating / training, and rehoming them I have gained a vast amount of experience.
Though my love of dogs I also became involved in helping people to find their missing dogs. I am often asked to provide advice on what an owner should do and who to contact if they are in this situation. A few years back some friends and I started a group called Solstice missing dog which you can find on fb. We are expert dog catchers and own thermal imaging, remote cameras and traps. We are known and respected by local dog wardens for the voluntary work we do to secure a dogs safety.
From my years of fostering and co-running solstice missing dogs I insist that your dog will wear a GPS tracker whilst being exercised (provided by myself). If your dog is particularly nervous it will also wear its gps tracker inside my home until it is settled, but not over night.
TVBC License Number – Nov 2021 my license has been renewed for another 3 years and 5 star rating, just waiting the actual reference number of it. Any confirmation can be obtained if you contact the council.
