Sams homeboarding for dogs is licensed by Test Valley Borough Council and has been awarded a 5 Star rating from them.
Like most dog lovers I have enjoyed being a dog owner for a number of years, all being rescue dogs. It was from adopting these dogs that I later started to foster dogs from the same rescue and gained an enormous amount of experience in dealing with different breeds and types of dogs. These dogs ranged from Chihuahua and Pugs up to Red Setter and Labradoodles. Some of these dogs came from puppy farms and had never been in a home before or had any human contact. Others were unclaimed from the pound, and sadly some from homes. From fostering these dogs, rehabilitating / training, and rehoming them I have gained a vast amount of experiene. We still foster dogs and often have at least one foster dog staying with us.
Though this love of dogs I also became involued in helping people to find their missing dogs. I am often called apon to provide advice on what to do and who to contact if they are in this situation and belong to a much wider network of people who also do the same. Both the fostering and helping people when they have lost their dog is on a voluntary basis.
